Payments
Use this page after you have agreed a one-to-one or small-group tutoring session with Henry.
TutorLumin payments should go through the QuantaLumin payments system. Depending on the payment route, it can direct you to a secure Stripe checkout or display bank-transfer details such as a Monzo account.
Before paying
Please make sure the session details are clear first:
- student name
- one-to-one or small-group format
- subject or topic
- agreed date and time
- agreed price
- whether the payment is by card or bank transfer
Do not send payment for a new session from scratch without first confirming availability.
Payment routes
Stripe checkout
For card payments, Henry can provide a QuantaLumin payment link that sends you to a secure Stripe checkout for the agreed session.
Bank transfer
For bank transfer, the QuantaLumin payment route can display the relevant transfer details. Bank details should not be copied from old messages or guessed.
Payment reference
Use the student's name and session date as the reference unless Henry gives you a specific reference.
Why this page does not publish bank details directly
Bank details can change, and payment details should be shown in the right context for the agreed session.
The safer route is for TutorLumin to use the QuantaLumin payments system or a direct message from Henry, so the amount, payment method, and reference are all clear.
After paying
Send a short confirmation if needed, especially for bank transfer, so the session can be matched to the payment.
