Why TutorLumin exists
TutorLumin brings quantum education within reach of children by building the STEM and language foundations that make it understandable. Learners can follow a coherent route independently, work with a tutor, or use collaborative simulations and physical props to investigate ideas that are otherwise invisible.
Our philosophy
True confidence grows from deep understanding. We return to first principles, deconstruct complex topics, practise deliberately, and keep prerequisites visible so that progress is built on strong foundations. A rigorous quantum point of view does not mean forcing advanced physics into every lesson; it means asking what a model represents, what can be observed, and how we know.
TutorLumin and QuantaLumin
TutorLumin is the learning experience: pathways, teaching, courses, workshops, demonstrations and connected recommendations. QuantaLumin is the platform beneath it, providing secure identity, checkout, collaboration, and private workspaces where deeper project work can happen.
Henry Sheehy MSci MInstP | Founder & Lead Tutor
Henry is a Quantum Researcher at the Cambridge Union, a DBS-checked tutor, and has 14 years of tutoring experience. He teaches physics, mathematics, chemistry, quantum science, exam preparation, and advanced problem solving. He combines deep subject knowledge with a first-principles approach designed to leave learners more independent, not more dependent on the tutor.
Henry believes that difficulty in a subject often grows from stress or an explanation that has skipped the learner’s real question. Away from the notebook he enjoys swimming, Karate, and Rings Gymnastics.

Victoria Sutton | Designer & Teaching Assistant
Victoria blends creative design, accessible explanation, and mentorship. Her own experience of struggling with maths and science informs a supportive approach to confidence, visual learning, design, and portfolio development. Her background includes a first-class Drama and Theatre degree, multisensory theatre for children, and work supporting school performances and exams. At TutorLumin she helps turn abstract lessons into classroom simulations, educational props and learning environments that invite children to take part.
